Our products are designed to meet the various existing fixtures including timber, metal, tiles and for fixing to masonry products including concrete. We now offer a masonry hole sawing service for the cleanest possible finish. Internal Balustrade and Handrails
With slim-line fittings for our wire balustrade and our sophisticated fixing methods our internal balustrades and handrails make a beautiful addition to your home. We build gates and void barriers to fit any style of home.
External Balustrade and Handrails
All of our products are exceptionally strong and designed to last in our extreme Australian conditions. We use 316-grade stainless steel from the top rail right down to the screws and fittings, unless otherwise specified. For external applications we recommend electro-polishing which reduces the ability of contaminants to stick to the metal surface that can cause slight blemishes and discolouration.
Glazed Balustrade and Handrails
Stainless steel and glass can provide the perfect architectural feature piece for your home. There are multiple styles and finishes available with the option of using any of our post types (slotted round tube, rectangular, square, flat bar) or even using the variety of patch and friction fittings we have available. Stainless Steel Wiring
Stainless steel wiring can be installed to fit any existing timber balustrade or decking. We use only the best quality wire and fittings. At WG Ford we have developed a unique slim-line fitting system to reduce clutter and view obstructions. We ensure the wire tension exceeds the Building Code of Australia. We can provide you with a Certificate of Tension to present to your building inspector, upon request, ensuring you receive your Certificate of Occupancy. We also provide a wire tensioning and certification service if you have had your wires installed by someone else.
